Fines and Fees

1. All patron cards at the New Haven Community Library are free of charge.
2. Patrons are expected to return borrowed materials on time and in good condition.
3. There will be no fines for overdue materials and no limits to the amount of material that may be borrowed. However, borrowing privileges may be suspended if books are not consistently returned by the date due. 
4. Patrons are responsible for replacement costs of lost or damaged items.
5. Inter-Library Loan books are offered free of charge. Voluntary donations for postage and other shipping costs are gratefully accepted.
6. Printer services for photocopies and computer printouts are offered free of charge, but limited to 10 items per patron.
